What do you do?:
I am studying journalism because I want to be a newspaper journalist. I have always loved writing and I like the idea of being the voice for the people. I feel like it was something I was born to do. I love reading, writing and everything to do with creativity and imagination. They take me to another world.

On the ipod:
Coldplay, Garbage, Radiohead and Silverchair.

Hidden talent:
I can recite almost every line from Romeo and Juliet. I am also really good at puzzles. I once did a 1000-piece jigsaw in less than an hour.

Perfect Sunday afternoon:
Doing nothing!

Fashion style:
Really casual, mostly T-shirts and jeans. I like Audrey Hepburn’s classy style – when I go out I dress like her.

Background:
Turkish and Albanian. These cultures have helped make me the person I am in terms of humour, morals and personality.

What is important to you?:
Family.
I think it is really important to put them first and to respect every member of your family. And the way you represent yourself is pretty important too.

Secret to a successful relationship:
Honesty – you have to accept each other’s flaws. But I’m not interested at the moment because I am focused on developing my career, trying to be the best journalist I can be.

Most memorable day:
When I walked the red carpet with Ben Barnes, Prince Caspian from the Narnia movie. It was the first time I had been to something exclusive with lots of celebrities. It was lots of fun.

What do you like about the area?:
The food is always nice, there are some really good restaurants here that not many people know about. People are more laid-back here too and you don’t have to impress them.
