Suzie Q, Pole dancer and teacher

I started stripping when I was 17 to pay for university and just took to it. I do have other options in my life. I am well-educated, I have worked in other careers but this is just what I really like to do. Now I travel, do shows and teach pole dancing. It is so exciting and every day is different.
The studio has had a really good response here since we opened in May. There is not anything else like this out in the West, so we had to overcome people’s misconceptions. But it has grown so fast and we now have about 100 students and do 15 classes a week.
It is just normal women wanting something a little bit different in their exercise regime and something a little bit different in
their life. The girls that are regulars see an enormous change in their strength, body shape and body image.
It is a hectic workout, but you still feel very beautiful and very much like a woman when you are doing it. It does take a bit of guts to book into the classes, but it is worth it because of the confidence it brings that other exercise forms don't. It is all
about strength and attitude.
